So I’m back home now from my week’s vacation and boy is it tricky getting back to the swing of things. Today was a long day at work and I’m just beat. I wonder how I had the stamina before my trip to do all that I do? I realize that it will be a slight adjustment in my sleep schedule and time management in order to keep on keeping on. So I thought I would find some crafty ways to acclimate back to my usual schedule.
I find it helpful to return a day early. This way, you can settle into your home life on that day, and then settle into your work life the following day. Doing both can be super overwhelming.
Try to get back to your sleep schedule asap. If there is jet lag involved from your vacation, try as hard as you can to go to bed at your normal bed time, and sleep through the night. After a few nights of doing this, hopefully you’ll be back on track with your z’s.
Get back on track with your eating and working out. You may have worked out while you were on vacation, but your eating may have suffered. Try eating clean or doing a cleanse when you return so that you can get your body and diet back on track.
Drink plenty of water. This may have suffered too while you were away. The water will help to hydrate not only your skin, but revitalize you as well.
Don’t take on too much too soon, the last thing you want to do is stress yourself out to the point where you’ll have to recharge again in a week; pace yourself.
Take a yoga class. It’s a great way to ease back into your day to day.
