The say miracles don’t happen every day. Imagine my surprise when I found a real life miracle. That’s right, life changing, ground breaking, go run and tell your friends about it, miracle! What I found was Aloe Vera Gel. This shouldn’t be confused with a gel that has aloe in it. But rather, this is the gel from the Aloe leaf. It is sold in places like the Vitamin Shop, Amazon, GNC and health food stores and markets.
I use the aloe gel in my hair as a super moisturizer (among other things). Since using it, my natural kinky, curly, coily hair are supple, well moisturized and easy to manage. It also works wonders on dry skin, irritated skin, burned skin, bug bites, cuts scrapes and burns. I seriously LOVE this stuff!
Nic Tip: for styling I combine equal parts water, olive oil and Aloe Vera gel into a spray bottle. I use this to quickly wet my hair to get the most out of my curls and to add moisture on the go!.
