Active wear has made a major impact on the fashion scene. Not your high school gym class actie wear, but luxurious, well fitting, super cute styles that are meant to be worn in and lived in. Going on vacation, wearing over your swimsuit, traveling to your vacation destination. These active wear ensembles and the brands/designers that make them know what their doing and choose the best fabrics to get the most out the simple designs.
This resort season, we saw active wear inspiration all over the runways for the S/S 15 shows. Today, I’ll show you some of my favs! Nic TiP: I think this trend works best when pairing with heels or super cute gladiator sandals. You shouldn’t look like you’re going to work out. You should look, edgy, effortless, comfortable and confident. Wear your red lipstick, do your hair and accessorize. It’s the details that you don’t expect, that style this look to perfection.
Pam & Gela: These 2 founders of Juicy Couture bring us their more grown up version of what fashion means to them. With an easy, laid back California vibe, we see why girls from California have more fun. Think fun day trips to the coast and first dates with men you like. Pair with super cute wedges or keds, and don’t forget your boho swag.

Norma Kamali: This great designer basically created the active wear category. Infusing high fashion with very comfortable terry cloth, Kamali has been crating wearable comfort for ever. As one of my old bosses, I learned from her that fashion doesn’t have to be pain to be beautiful. Check out her color blocked version of a track suit. Super cute! Pair it with heels and you’re on your way.
