Swim Style

Translating your personal style into your swim style isn’t the easiest thing. I always try to find a piece that I can wear over my swimsuit that looks like it goes with my swimsuit. I hate feeling not put together and haphazard-I never know what will happen or what experience I will be put into, so I try to look put together, so that if a situation arises, I’m dressed for it. This is necessary for my life. My looks for the beach or pool follow the same logic.

I wanted to show you, how you can do that. I’m wearing my Nager By Nic Hyl Deep V Halter as the swimsuit. In the first shot, I’ve paired it with my BCBG bandage skirt, Gucci Sandals, vintage clutch and some necklaces. In the second shot, the same swimsuit is paired with a Club Monaco leather jacket, 7For All Mankind jeans, and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. Tip, for this particular swimsuit, I put on my Nager By Nic Hyl Classic Triangle top, or added support.

In either example, I would feel comfortable if I had to go to a party or drinks immediately after I left the pool/beach.
