Office Attire

So I work for a major fashion company in their production and product development department. In fashion, that means bringing ideas to life (from the designers), and then getting them made. My job let’s me see so many new ideas, trends and style tips. The other women in my office are pretty fashion savvy and some of the best trends that I see, often come from them. As a group, we try new things, know what’s current, and aren’t affirmed to explore.

For today’s post, I thought it would be a great idea to show you some of the trends I spy around the office.

Accessories: More than anything, the office culture is accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! From necklaces, to rings, bangles and other things. I see it all. More than anything, they are often grouped together, so many necklaces for example, or rings. I noticed that last year it was more bold, chunky pieces. Now, I still see people layering, just with more delicate pieces. Check out pieces like this dainty cross Jennifer Lopez is wearing or the arrow necklace Ashlee Simpson has on. Both available on Singer 22 Shop On Trend “Designer Exclusives” as seen on Hollywood’s Elite — Only available at SINGER22.com

Sunglasses: Every New Yorker wears sunglasses. ALL of the time. It’s our way to have a bit of privacy in this jammed packed city. The women in my office are no different. I see primarily aviators and tortoise shell big frames. The perfect piece to complete any outfit, these timeless Ray-Ban aviators are a must-have addition to any wardrobe. 58mm x 45mm. This is an iconic look that has endured for nearly a century.
