Love is in the Air …
This weekend, controversy swept through the internet when news broke that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are engaged. The couple dated back in 2016 for a brief time and eventually split. There had been speculation here and there for the past couple of years about them getting back together, but nothing really stuck. It wasn’t until about a month ago when the pair were seen out in New York that it was confirmed they were a duo again.
Now, weeks later, the pair are apparently engaged! (Cue millions of girls saying “that should be me”). Surprisingly enough, I haven’t heard much about the whole Selena Gomez and Justin ordeal upon learning about the engagement. You know people love to bring up the past and make a story out of something that isn’t there. I just hope for Hailey’s sake that she can enjoy her fiancee and this happy time.
Although this seems a bit hasty, I do hope they’re happy and have a great marriage, it’s 2018 which means anything can happen … we should just be a little more open-minded instead of trying to drag people down for their happiness.
