It’s the peak of summer, depending on how you look at it you may say that Summer is almost over, but hey, I’m a glass half full kind of girl. If you’re anything like me, your summer has been jammed packed with activities and trips all in the middle of trying to better yourself and have fun. How do we do it all? Personally, I’m in the middle of so many different projects, it’s hard to keep my head on straight sometimes. What helps is having an easy, natural regime in hair, clothes and overall appearance to make things that much easier for me. I’m literally able to take control of my life because it isn’t bogged down with the maintenance of fussy things like: straightening my hair or wearing pounds of make up.
Now don’t get me wrong; I want to look amazing. I just don’t want to spend hours to actually do it. Recently, I went on a family vacation to Jamaica. I packed one bag for 4 days, wore 2 different outfits plus one swimsuit each day, and my style was easy and effortless. Perfect for 90 degree weather. Some of my trade secrets:
Tinted moisturizer (with SPF): Now granted, if it’s too hot outside, I’ll only wear a moisturizer with SPF in it b/c I’ll just end up sweating off foundation or bronzer anyway, but a tinted moisturizer is a great way to get the coverage of makeup in half the time. Many of them now have minerals in them that help to improve skin’s overall complexion. I wear Naked in Bronze.
