Haven’t made any summer plans yet? Well don’t worry! So many people I’ve spoken to are still undecided on what to do for summer, so try doing some of these great tips for summer. Many of you may be thinking, you don’t have time or you don’t have money. But the great thing about this list is that many of the things are inexpensive, you just have to know where to look….and you’ve found the right place!
Explore your city: I love in one of the best cities in the world and I often take it for granted because I’m too busy to explore all that it has to offer. So on my list of things to do this summer is to take a bus tour of New York City (you know the super tourist one that people do when they visit here?) Now if you don’t live in New York City, apply this logic to where you do live. What local museums do you have? What companies give tours? Go to them!!! See your city through the eyes of a tourist and fall in love with your city or town all over again.
Try Something New: What have you always wanted to do, but just need have? If you have no summer plans, perhaps this summer is the perfect time to try those new things….Maybe that’s skydiving, or playing golf or just going on a lunch outside in the grass. What ever adventure you’re longing to do, perhaps your lack of summer plans is just the thing you need to motivate you to try them….
Last minute vacay’s: Flight deals are rampant this time of year. In my inbox today (for one of my email accounts) I got about 5 different emails from different companies offering either travel deals or hotel deals, there are TONS of last-minute deals out there. The one thing I will say is that they may be to places you never considered going to before, but maybe you should and this way you’ll go out-of-town and try something new.
What ever you choose to do for summer, let it be fun, fresh, and of the moment. The lack of plans doesn’t mean you’ll be in your house all summer long, it just means maybe you open your mind up to trying new things and who knows….you just might like it.
