Alandria’s Shrimp And Rice

I have a shrimp and rice recipe for y’all today. It’s an efficient and delicious meal that you don’t need to do too much for. This can be done various ways but today I’ll be sharing with you how I do my shrimp and rice.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Frozen or fresh cooked shrimp

  2. Rice (I prefer Jasmine)

  3. Frozen or fresh bell peppers

  4. Butter

  5. 2 garlic cloves

  6. Salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you like (I use Badia’s Complete Seasoning, garlic salt, and garlic powder)


It’s best if you have a rice cooker, but if not, stove top is just fine. So I usually put on the rice first and then take out my frozens to thaw will the rice is cooking. Once the rice is done, I’ll let it sit and cool a bit will I cook the shrimp. I also use this time to mince garlic cloves. Then, I get a saucepan and put about 1/3 of a stick of butter in it as well as the garlic and let it cook for a few seconds. I then add my shrimp and peppers and stir it a little. I season the shrimp and pepper and then I let it cook for 2-3 more minutes. After it’s ready, I mix in the rice very well and then it’s ready to eat!
