Happy new year bellas!!!! I hope you had a great, fun and safe holiday. If you’re like most people you made a New Years Resolution. If you’re like most fashionable women, you made a Style Resolution. You know what that is; when you vow to improve your look by getting new hair cut, or working out more or stepping up your wardrobe game all in your effort to improve your style for the new year.
Well, to how about starting your new year off with some of these great style options:
Tossled Bobs: I’ve been seeing a few hair cuts lately and it’s a great way to re-introduce your self to your friends/co-workers for 2015. A bob works well for most face shapes and hair colors, it’s fun, flirty and easy to maintain. Plus, your grow out phase is so natural and cute. For the added 2015 element, add texture to your hair by having a more tossled look. Achieve this by air drying instead of straightening. Add some product to prevent frizz. Ala Julianne Hough.

Culottes: They were big in the 70’s, and then we never heard from them again. But for 2015, they are big again. Not really a skirt, but it looks like one. Culottes are super wide leg, shorts or short pants that are super easy, effortless and chic (you know how much I adore that combination). So grab a pit of culottes and lead the style revolution! Just be sure to pair them with a great pump or sandal. A heel works best if you’re short, b/c of the length of the culotte. Have fun with it and tag me on Instagram with your style pics @nic_hyl

No Make up: While the trend has been little to no make up (we saw it up and down the runways of S/S 15), you’ve got to have (IMO), great skin to pull this off. If your skin isn’t so great, you can always have the illusion of great skin by getting a really good facial-regularly, and a great foundation. I think a cream foundation works for most skin types. Be sure to match it very well to your skin tone. #IWokeUpLikeThis
